Backpack Buddies

The average student needs $529 in school supplies per child yearly, a difficult expense for families experiencing homelessness. To alleviate parents’ costs and financial burdens, the Heading Home community collects and stuffs backpacks with school supplies to ensure school-aged kids in our programs go back to school with the tools they need to learn and thrive.
