The Changing Face of Homelessness
Families with children remain the fastest growing segment of the homeless population. There are an estimated 4,300 homeless families Massachusetts alone, including 1,300 families who are living in motels.
Heading Home is dedicated to solving this crisis and providing solutions. Our mission is to end homelessness in Greater Boston by providing a supported pathway to self-sufficiency that begins with a home, together with critical services such as life skills, financial literacy, and job training.DONATE TODAY

- 90% client retention rates in our permanent housing programs
- 350+ new units of housing created since 2006
“Since July 1, I’ve helped more than 25 families secure housing. Most recently, one of my clients secured housing and will be moving out of a hotel, just in time for her daughter’s 3rd birthday.”
