Ideal for groups of any size
The past 18+ months have been especially difficult for men, women, and children experiencing homelessness in our programs. Our clients (82% of whom identify as non-white and/or Hispanic/Latinx) sit at the epicenter of our country’s three most pressing crises: health, economic, and racial equity.
Messages of hope and encouragement offer motivation, kindness, and a sense of community to clients of all ages as they work to end their homelessness. Heading Home is happy to host a virtual engagement where we introduce our work and the significant impact of “Messages of Hope” and answer any questions your team, community, or family may have.

Collect and Create Kits for Clients
Creating ‘kits’ for Heading Home clients is a fun way to engage your family, community or team. Purchase/collect donations to build the kits and donate to men, women, and children in Heading Home programs.
Snack Packs:
- Brown paper bag

Hygiene Kits:

- Shampoo/conditioner set
- Soap or body wash

Host an In-Kind Donation Drive
In addition to the opportunities above, we are always accepting essential items for our clients. Year-round we collect:
- Gift cards (in $25 increments)
- Household cleaning supplies
- Toilet paper
- Paper towels
- Diapers/wipes
Fundraise for Heading Home
Make an impact by raising essential funds for Heading Home. Our annual budget is $18M, the majority of which is covered by government contracts, but private fundraising and individual donations close essential fiscal gaps that make our work possible. We utilize Blackbaud’s JustGiving peer-to-peer platform but are happy to support the use of other programs such as GoFundMe, GiveLively, and Facebook Fundraising.
