“There is nothing more powerful than a room full of women on a mission”
– First Lady of Massachusetts Lauren Baker

On Thursday, January 28, 2021, 422 people from across the country tuned in to She4She 2021 to hear from an incredible panel of women and raise more than $180,000 for Heading Home.

In a welcome message from Bloomberg’s Janet Wu, guests were grounded in the mission of Heading Home: to help men, women, and children navigating homelessness on their journey towards housing and financial independence.

First Lady of Massachusetts, Lauren Baker and Vice-Chair of Wonderfund MA, introduced Dugana, a Heading Home client, who told her story in a three-part mini-series played throughout the event.

A vibrant conversation moderated by Jenny Johnson, Entrepreneur, Producer, and host of NESN’s Dining Playbook, with four leading women in Boston, who were asked to reflect on their experiences as women, as leaders, and how they’ve managed to overcome difficult circumstances in their own lives and used those difficulties to drive their purpose and ‘why’ in life. Our thanks to panelists: City Councilor Andrea Campbell, Boston Police Superintendent Nora Baston, Co-Founder of Fresh Food Generation Cassandria Campbell, and Boston Globe Columnist and Founder of C Space Diane Hessan,
