Good Work Rooted in Love: Renee Rhodes

Renee Rhodes, a true disrupter, is a Program Manager at Heading Home. Renee’s work is rooted in love and shared humanity, working with homeless families to overcome difficulties and help them thrive. In just under four years with us, Renee has worked with 50+ families and their children to help them see all of the possibilities in their lives. When families arrive in our shelters, they often feel completely broken, not able to see what they can achieve, and without a true community of support. Renee welcomes them with open arms into our shelters and is especially gifted in the way she assists clients in regaining lost hope and passion in their lives. Mixing her deep compassion with a genuine curiosity to understand each individual story, Renee listens closely and helps people learn to really hear themselves and begin to realize that success comes with small steps. Renee is a master at building a sense of worthiness, belonging, empowerment, and inspiration in all who meet her.
