NAIOP Massachusetts’ 24th Annual Charitable Golf Tournament

The 24th Annual NAIOP Charitable Golf Tournament on June 6th raised $151,500 to support our programs to end homelessness. The amount is the largest in the tournament’s history, bringing the total amount donated to Heading Home to more than $1.85 million and maintaining NAIOP’s role as Heading Home’s largest corporate donor.

Held on three courses at Stow Acres Country Club and Butternut Farm Golf Club, the tournament drew nearly 400 golfers from all sectors of the commercial real estate industry for a day of fun, networking, and fundraising. The event is organized by NAIOP’s Charitable Events Committee, led this year by Andy Hoar of CB Richard Ellis, which raises money through corporate sponsorships, individual donations, as well as a Super Raffle. With 50 prizes, this year’s Super Raffle was a huge success, raising $30,000 alone.

The NAIOP Charitable Events Committee thanks this year’s many sponsors and donors who gave so generously to this event, particularly Walmart, Inc., who served as the 2012 Tournament Sponsor; Suffolk Construction, the 2012 Hole-in-One Sponsor; and Commodore Builders, Structure Tone and Unicco, the 2012 Course Sponsors. It is only through their support that the tournament is able to raise funds needed to help us accomplish our goal of ending family homelessness.
