Program Coordinator- Individuals Congregate Program

The Program Coordinator is responsible for program oversight and supervision, scheduling, selecting participants and providing case management for formerly homeless individual.  Strong, writing, computer, interpersonal and organizational skills essential. Qualifications: BA required, MA preferred.

Housing Search & Stabilization Workers

The Search & Stabilization workers assists shelter guests to locate appropriate, affordable housing for eventual independent living and provides intervention and support services to maintain families in permanent housing for up to 18 months.  Duties include, identifying and assisting to secure affordable housing, and creating linkages to area landlords.   QUALIFICATIONS: One-to-three years housing search experience or related social service experience, preferably with the homeless population, and knowledge of relevant resources. Bachelors Degree, Valid Mass Drivers license and reliable vehicle required.  Good preblessing skills, patience and persistence in assisting people with the difficulties of housing search.  Demonstrated ability to work in office and field-based settings with a diverse, homeless population.  Willingness to travel to program sites and to accompany clients to housing appointments and to view apartments.
